I have had good luck with Garlic Powder you can buy at a horse herb place.
Start a very little amount in the filly's food daily and work up to 2 tbls
am and pm. Also to help the abcess and keep flies away, once the area is washed
pack it with Garlic Powder. It does great. Remember Garlic was the original
antibiotic. Bets
