  • List 5 common 2-beat gaited horse breeds and a defining characteristic of each. We suggest for those that trot (2-beat): Quarter Horse, Arabian, Thoroughbred, Belgian, Welsh Pony.
  • List 2 common non-2-beat gaited breeds and a defining characteristic of each. We suggest for those that do not trot (non-2-beat): Tennessee Walking Horse and Paso Fino.
