I have a 5 year standardbred pacing mare that is not finishing her miles and below are the results from my most recent test 16 hours after her race.

The Hct is very slightly anemic and the ratio of hameglobin to hematocrit suggests hemolysis: broken red blood cells. This may be incidental from a poorly handled sample but if it is real, certainly will account for poor performance.
