3 month old colt
This colt is out of a buckskin mare and a solid chestnut sire.

My camera batteries died, I will try to take a few more shots tomorrow.
I don't think his back legs are really as far foreward as they look in this picture.
His front pasterns look too straight to me, will they change as he gets older?

...or he will varnish out and the blanket will not be visiable .. in the appy world it is called a varnish roan..
You have to do a search now on his full pedigree to see how far back the LP gene is ..
