The American Kerry Bog Pony Society is dedicated to the Preservation of a rare, Ancient Breed. To learn more about these wonderful ponies visit the AKBPS website at:

There are around 200 of these ponies in Ireland and 12 known to be in the United States. This is a Mountain and Moorland Breed. Photo of the leading breed sire, Dempsey Bog, is attached.
