Hi all,
Please go to this site and send your positive thoughts to the police unit in Canada who lost this beautiful horse. It is beyond sad.

There is a memorial fund set up in Brigadier's name and the money goes for clinical care for horses at Guelph University (think I got that right). It took me three tries to send my donation to them via credit card. If anyone wants to give to the fund, you probably just need to be patient and keep trying.
Don't know why, but this one upset me more than usual - and I can get pretty upset on the subject of harming animals. I also requested to be kept updated about the fund and about what is being done in regard to the person who did this. It is such a senseless death.

Hi Kathleen, This indeed was a very sad situation. It was on all the local news up here, and there was a huge number in attendance for the memorial.

Yes, you are right, it goes to Guelph U. That is our Ontario Veterinary Collage and main animal hospital here in Ontario.
