Hi, all.

Again, I am seeking others wisdom for a problem I am not sure I can solve.

I recently purchased a very nice grazing muzzle for a fat pony who has access to too much grass.

I chose the model with the built in break-away halter for safety, of course. I fitted the muzzle according to the directions which was to fit it similar to a good halter fit while leaving one inch clearance within the muzzle. It is the proper size and seems to fit him very well.

The problem is that every day when I return to the barn, the muzzle is off. My gelding, who is a velcro Houdini, got the blame since he is very edept at removing the pony's fly mask. However, I haven't noticed the velcro being undone, so somehow this is slipping off his head (I am sure he has an accomplice).

I am not sure what to do since it really is a good fitting device and I don't think I can adjust it any tighter without the pony being completely restricted.

Anyone had this problem? I always appreciate your comments.

Thanks, Lisa
