Hi Dr. O and friends,

The article states that we should be vaccinating for EEE 3-4 times a year!

Normally, my horses are only vaccinated in the spring. They live in Wake County and are out half and full time.

Should I be upping the frequency?

For years I have seen a few in Florida recommend more frequently than twice yearly but I have never seen any work to suggest why. I think twice yearly will keep you very safe while 4 times a year is not a guarantee you are 100% safe.
