I have 2 foals, each 3 weeks old, that both had passive transfer failure. Both were given plasma transfusions. Donor horses were given routine vaccinations but no West Nile. I live in East Texas and West Nile is very prevalent here. What should I do? How soon can I vaccinate the foals? Any advice appreciated!

I would use the routine for high risk foals of unvaccinated mares at » Equine Diseases » Nervous System » West Nile Virus.
