I am looking for some general advice from all of you super experienced horse people. As I mentioned in another post, I am getting ready to put up a barn on my property. Although I have owned horses for twenty years, I have never started from scratch before and am getting nervous. Here are my questions:
Keep in mind that I live in Massachusetts.
*We just leveled the area (72'x160') of turnout/riding and the man covered what seemed to be pretty rich dirt with very rocky sand. What to do about that?
*What is recommended for stall footing? I will have 2 10x16' run ins to which both horses will have constant access.
*Any tips on getting as much "horse time" as possible with a seven month old?!
* Anything else you want to tell me!!
Thanks for the tips in advance. -Gwen
