Dr. O, My horses are due for deworming this week. I will use an ivermectin this month. I am also planning on vaccinating. I want to do the intranasal flu vaccine today, and have the vet scheduled out to do the west nile 5 way vaccination on Friday. Does it matter when I worm them? I just don't want to over do it all in one week, if this causes any problems??
thanks
sue

No there is no problem with deworming and vaccinating. However does your 5 way have flu in it also? There would be no need and would represent added expense if it does.

No, you should go ahead and vaccinate, there is a long mosquito season still in front of you. Which WNV vaccine did you buy and is this the first time vaccinated for WNV?
