I opened a jar of Corona that was rock hard. It is now being stored in the incubator (I board at a stallion farm) and it is perfectly easy to use.

Another idea that is more accessible would be to store in a refrigerator - 38/40 degrees is a lot warmer than 10 or 20 degrees.
