I bought them and put them out for two years.

Did not by them last year and havnt purchase them this year.

I have six horses on 6 acres and I had seven.
I dont see any difference. The bugs are bad here in NC right now and they were bad then.

I do have some fire ants if that might have had a bearing. It says fire ants are bad.

Also birds and chickens are often seen going through the horse piles.

My horses stay outside and I put these things around the shelters and dark spots and places it said. Still lots of flies this time of year.

I also spread my fields with a hare so I might kill some of them.

I didnt see a difference anyway the way I do things.

I've had them for several years & by the second year we had nearly no flies. That changed when we got new neighbors across the street with about 10 head of horses. I don't believe they use them & the flies are horrible this year. I also see gnat catchers & small birds having their way with the predators but you can still see them swarm when picking up the stall.

Used them for several years and they do make a big dent in the fly population for us. That was brought home last year when wildfire swept to within 2 ft of my barn! The manure pile caught on fire then the firermen DrOwned it! To say the least the tiny warrior flys took a terrible beating. My husband even noted the difference their absense made ??? Cindy

I am on my 3rd delivery. I use a hangar and put them in that hanging thing in the barn so they cannot be trampled, but since it is made of wire mesh, they can get out.
I also spread them AROUND the perimeter of the manure pile behind the storage container and around the perimeter of the pasture and pens. I had a HUGE outbreak a few weeks ago when I had several traveling horses here, far beyond what that size predator order should have been able to handle. RIght now, I am using simplifly (2 months) a full colony of predators every 3 weeks (up from a 1/2 colony every 4 weeks)... and fly trap bags from Lowe's... I am really quite surprised at how much better the fly population has been the past 2 weeks. IT was really bad for a while there.
THIS IS WAR and I intend to win it.
