Does anyone have any first-hand experience - good &/or bad - with the compact manure spreaders manufactured by Millcreek and/or Country Manufacturing? Prices seem similar and only difference seems to be Millcreek models are all metal, while Country's are metal with replaceable wooden side panels - though haven't seen either up close.
Would appreciate any advice or recommendation.
Thanks,
Bonnie

I have a Millcreek and think it is well built and works well. It really reduces the manure, hay, and fecal balls to a fine mist.

PS, I deleted out the other discussion that asked the same question, just post one place it prevents the forums from becoming clogged up.

Thanks Dr. O - A new Millcreek dealer just opened up minutes away. I'll have to drop over and take a look. What size Millcreek do you have for the number of stalls you maintain, and what type of bedding do you use?
(Sorry for the double post - didn't see the first one I posted, thought I screwed up - so posted again in a different area. Twenty lashes!!)

We have the model 25 and use pine shavings. We have 18 stalls and keep anywhere from 10 to 30 horses on the property at a time. Needless to say we run it just about daily.

I am looking to purchase a manure spreader but can't find a web site for the Millcreek referred to in previous posts. I also haven't been able to find a dealer in my area that knows the Millcreek product. Can anyone give me a web site or address for the company manufacturing this product?
