My horse received a grade 3 rating on the RF during a VET CHECK performed last week. I have tired several times to contact the Vet regarding the notes she wrote on the paperwork, with no luck. The handler admitted that the Vet commented on how this horse could become problematic in the future. Does receiving the rating GRADE 3 LAME RF, from a VET CHECK mean the horse is NOT SOUND? All comments welcomed, Thanks. } |

The term "sound" or even the term "lame" means different things to different people. To me the horse is lame and therefore not sound. However this does not tell us why the horse is lame and therefore do not know if this is a temporary or permanent condition. DrO |
