Hi Dr O;
Sorry, I forgot to give you an update after 6 months. Better late than never. I just wanted to let you know that Max is doing great. He did have another gas colic problem about 2 months after his surgery. He had been given grass hay, oats and pasture only since his surgery. We also had him back on a psyllium schedule since we have sandy soil here. We are convinced that the psyllium was creating his gas problem. We took him off the psyllium in Oct 2002 and he has not had a problem since. I have also found out that CSU has done additional laparoscropic closures and that they were putting together a follow up study.

Thank you Debra, interesting about the psyllium. I think people complain about this with metamucil.
