I was wondering if it was possible to get a headache. I personally think it is but not sure. If it is posible how would i go about determining the times they occur.
Thanks

While I think it is likely horses can get a headache, the problem is there would be no way to distinguish it from other diseases. I think mild depression would be the most common clinical sign but this is the same symptom found in hundreds of diseases, not all easily diagnosed.

Do you think head shyness could also be a possibility because my horse is generally good about having her head handled etc but there are times she gets really freaked out and doesnt like having her head handled. I am sure she has had an abusive past so was thinking maybe she has had some kind of head problems that come and go. ALso an off topic question. How is it determined if a horse has fluids in their sinuses and the main disease that causes them. I would look at all the info and try to figure it out myself but I have very little time online because my computer is no longer on the internet at this moment.
Thanks a bunch

No I don't think head shyness is likely to be do to headaches and horses with fluid in their sinuses will have a nasal discharge. The causes for sinusitis in the horse are the same for bleeding, when you get back on the internet you will find them at, » Equine Diseases » Respiratory System » Nose Bleeds: Epistaxis.
