I noticed about 20-30 ticks on my filly's teats so per my vet I dewormed with Ivermectin, which did kill them all. I would like to prevent any possible infection, as her teats are slightly swollen. I wiped with a clean warm wet cloth, but can you tell me:
What might be a soothing anti-bacterial to use in this sensitive area (and other sentive areas for future reference?) Can I use human Lanacane?
Thank you!
jeans.

Lanacane is not an effective antibacterial as far as I know. If you feel you need a topical antibiotic I recommend Neosporin or generic equivalent.

Isn't Bag Balm made for this kind of thing?

Neosporin is probably more antibacterial.
