My pony developed laminitis last fall. He did very well and x-rays show no damage. This spring the ring line has grown out significantly. His feet are more brittle than before but this too is not extreme. (he has always had very hard and healthy feet-but now has a crack at the toe)

This winter he started to loose handfulls of mane at a time and if I groomed him more, I'm sure he would be missing most of his mane. If you run your hand along it a at least ten strains easily fall out. He has nice new grown of 3-4 inches at the crest. Is this related to the laminitis?
