I have a client call me last night regarding his QH mare with a nasal discharge from one nostril only. He said it is rather thick and has a rancid smell. Sorry for such limited information, but waiting on client to call back with more details. Any ideas? DT |

Dennis with a bad smell you usually have to think infection. I wonder if it is possible she got something stuck up her nose, I know mine are always rubbing their nose on things. I don't know if horses get sinus infections? |

Hello Dennis, For many reasons we avoid doing third party consultations but I would recommend your friend seek veterinary care for such a problem. DrO |
