So my poor rescue Tennessee Walker seems to have the dreaded strangles. We are waiting on the lab report. The vet says that I should put furizone on to try and get the abscess to burst. What are your thoughts on that? I haven't used it for anything before.

Hello kris,
I would use ichthamol ointment myself but furacin ointment does have some warming properties.
