Hi Dr. O. I found your article on Parasites and worms awesome, thank you. I wanted to ask what is the risk of using the Equimax in killing tape worms if you have never used the Praziquantel product before? I have never used a double dose of Strongid either. My rotation schedule includes: Spring, Quest; Early Fall Strongid and after the frost, Equimectrin and finally late winter Strongid. I have 4 adult geldings (all very healthy) and I just wasn't sure if there was concern *If* they did have tapeworms if a 1 kill dose would harm them in any way.Instead of doing my normal Equimectrin next month I was going to buy the Equimax. Your suggestions would be great.
ps.
