Don't know if I spelled that right but I just found out a stable where I have taken my horses for shows has 28 horses being tested and quarentined for it. Where would I find info and how does it manifest in humans?

Hello Jackie,
We really need an article on this disease and I will see if I cannot compose one next week. Humans only contract the disease rarely and display flu like symptoms, I cannot find anywhere whether they develop the blisters in the mouth or not. Recovery is always expected in otherwise healthy individuals. Being sneezed or coughed on by an infected animal is definately one way to get a lot of exposure.
