I have a friend who's weanling has diariha. The foal and mom are now at the vets and they have told her that the foal has a low protein level. This foal was to have some surgery done but cannot at this time. They cannot give a reason for this blood test. Has anyone out there had a simular problem and know the problem associated with this blood test.

Thanks,

Hello Elizabeth,
I am trying to get away from diagnostic and prognostic discussions that are done second hand. The problem is getting a accurate description and history, more than once I have spent a great deal of time only to find once all the information is in that there was some miscommunication or important detail left out. Perhaps just as important is the time it takes away from answering member's questions. I hope you understand.
