While reading my "Horse Illustrated" I came across this at the bottom of one of the pages. If you go to Adequan.com there is a video about DJD called "Balanced Joints, Sound Horse. It's pretty nice, it talks about it and shows how this disease gets started and shows what happens as it progresses in an animated format. You can also get a free copy of the CD by calling their Adequan information line at 800-974-9247

Linda, Thanx for the info. It's a great resource for visual info..at last I feel I have a grasp of DJD. There is so much to learn, investigate and explore and always too little time!

You're welcome Ilona :-). I am a "Show me" kinda person, and that video really gave me a better idea of it like it did for you. I wish there were more of those types of videos or pictures so we can see how other things start to develop. I can be a bit of a pain when a vet is around because I go over to see what the trouble is and ask questions about the circumstances.

Linda, I'm a pain with my vet too, and seeing as I wasn't going to change, they did...now I get a mini vet-school experience every time they make a visit which is too often as we have 9 horses. I love my equine vet group and probably wouldn't move out of area because of them...that's how great they are.
