Dr. O, I have a maiden mare that is DRIVING ME CRAZY, she is so different then all my other mares/ maidens included.. She now has this swelling the picture is not great, about the size of a young child's fist, 1 year old.. right in front of that vein you see.. only on one side.. Its not soft, but would not say HARD either.. Is this just normal edema building up.. ?
