I have a 9 year old mare---diagnosed with recurrent uveitis (and blind now) in left eye, she is currently stable with no meds just the fly mask and had her first foal 3 weeks ago with no problems(eye or otherwise, I want to re-breed, can I use lutalyse to shorten her cycle or will this stress her eye (system overload??)--she is a "retired" barrel horse because after every run she had a "reaction", so I do know that stress starts it. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Teri

Some of the other PgF2-a analogues do not seem to cause as much distress. I use Lutalyse from habit and good experiences but you might try these others. Synchrocept™ (sp?) comes to mind as one of these other agents.
