Dr. O.,
I was reading about Moxidectin . . . and under the heading "Effectiveness" there are results of several studies using 8 or 10 mixed breed horses and ponies.
After the animals were dosed with the wormer, it seems to say that they were necropsied to determine the effectiveness of the wormer by examining the parasites . . .
Dr. O., does this mean that the horses were put to death in order to study the effectiveness of the wormer? I hope I'm reading it wrong . . .

Holly I too hope they died of other reasons and coincidentally were dosed with Moxidectin prior! Where did you read the study? I would like to read it as well.

Holly, you read the research correctly and Corinne is probably correct but I do not know the circumstances.
