Dear DrO,
I recently heard a suggestion that Banamine may be administered preventively on an exhausted horse, for example one that has been pulled from an endurance ride, to help it recover and prevent leg swelling.
Isn't such practice a bit risky on a horse whose kidneys and liver are fighting to regain their normal function?
