I have a tube of Equimax that expired on 11/08. Would it still be OK to use?

Angela, DrO will have to give you a definitive answer. I personally won't use expired products.

Some expired products lose their effectiveness and while they do no harm, they don't do any good either, and others become dangerous to use. Whether or not that's the case with Equimax, I simply don't know.

The Equimax is at least 5 months over the exp date and usually storage in a barn (assuming that's where you kept it) is not ideal for the integrity of meds and supplements...too many changes in temperature and humidity.

Angela, it is never a good idea to use any medications after they expire. I am not sure about Equimax, but some wormers and antibiotics can be fatal past their expiration dates, because the recommended dose is exceeded, or some of the compounds break down into toxic chemicals. A good rule is if you have any doubt, err on the side of caution.
