Has anyone used or have a dosage level for boswellia in horses with arthritis? My 33yo gelding has a big stiff knee, and I don't want to keep him on bute. Devil's claw helps, but I've heard that boswellia is an anti-inflammatory useful in human and dog arthritis. Appreciate any info.

Careful with a 50/50 dose of dmso and absorbine, I have seen it scurff horses and under bandages create a burn. Janet, what is the starting percentage of your DMSO that you then cut half with Absorbine.

Thanks, Janet. I'll try it, but since he's on turnout, can't wrap him; presumably it'll not be quite as long-lasting without. Will apply sparingly to make sure doesn't scurf/burn. Would something like EPF or liniment gel with benzocaine work as well?

judy dont use anything tha is a counter irritant absorbine is used to sooth by giving the nerve ending stimulation and mixed signals we dont wnt to burn the leg up by using iodine or some heavy spirts which is contained in alot of brace ...tightner ...liniments all the same ...also the aroma has a very nice calming effect the dmso is the anti inflamitory ok friend ,,.
