Jos - Check for Equine Rescues in your area - there are probably several - They are usually really hurting for space - would jump at a chance to have someone "foster" one of their horses.

OK Three weeks without horses and I start feeling lonely
I don't really feel like buying a new horse for myself immediately put the paddocks look so empty. Anyone interested in dumping a horse[or two] on me? As long as it is temporary[even long time temporary I mean I don't want to be owner immediately again] I will consider every horsey type of animal that needs to grow up, get well, rest, be out of it's owners way whatever if the owner is prepared to pay the costs.Excellent possibilities for trail ride available, though I am not looking for a horse to ride, could keep it in condition for the owner though.Any other suggestions on how to 'horse' amuse myself in Southern California are welcome to!

I just finished building this web site for my friends. He builds jewelry out of antique silver spoons.

Great bling to accessorize your western outfit or an unusual gift.

Earing and rings to be added later.

Hello all HA'ers,

For anyone in eastern VA, I have 3 ponies for sale, that I must sell because I am losing the property where they are boarded. They have to go ASAP, 1 is a 3 yr reg. paint filly (14.1), the other is a 3 yr old welsh/TB filly (13.2), and the last one is a welsh/QH yearling (mature large). If you or anyone you know may be interested in ponies like these...email me privately for more information (standardedition10@hotmail.com).... cheap prices. Thanks for your help in this critical time. All are UTD on coggins, de-worming, shots.

Malama Lio

There's a new publication for Hawaii horse owners and riders, Malama Lio: The Hawaii Horse Journal.

"Malama Lio" means "caring for the horse" in Hawaiian, and that's the focus of this monthly newsletter. It's for all breeds, all disciplines, all islands.

Malama Lio is available free online as a PDF at www.malama-lio.com, or you can pick up your copy from your local feed store or tack shop (local in Hawaii, that is!). Mail subscriptions are also available.

Thinking of moving to Hawaii with your horses? The May issue discusses options and challenges of transporting horses to, from and within Hawaii. Looking for a broader market for your horse business? Consider advertising in Malama Lio, Hawaii's only statewide publication for horse people.

Denny T is offering a 2 day clinic at my facility, New Mexico, in May and October this year.

I am so proud to have met and come to know Denny. We have decided, after Denny came out to see that I had a verifiable place , to partner up by having him come twice annually to offer his knowledge and pragmatism to the South West. I wanted HA members to know of this prior to putting out my advertising blitz. The web-site where details can be found is www.ruidosoequine.com
Denny has offered so much to so many on this site. I know many have voiced the desire to meet with him if possible that I thought it only just that the opportunity to meet him in person be offered the HA community in advance of the general public.
