iam new and am not sure Iam at the right place to ask ? but cant find anything on my problem my mare 2 yrs lifts her tail and squats like she has to urinate but nothing happen ive noticed this happening more lately sometime small amounts of urination will come out thanks elaine |

Sounds like she's in season. Has long and often has this been happening? |

Hi Elaine,
I would second Karen's thought. I would imagine she is in heat. Some are very showy when in heat and will lift their tails, "wink" and squat. It shouldn't be happening for days on end however.
