Dr. O,
My mare, 14 years of age has heat cycles every 3 weeks, is the one with the fractured collateral cartilage. Needs to be kept as quiet as possible, and during these cycles, it's very difficult. It has been mentioned to me about a marble type thing that can be implanted in the uterus which stops the cycles. Your thoughts on this procedure please.

AhHa - guess I need to tell her it's past October so she better quit it!! Thanks much for the info, as I was on the "wrong page". Vet coming out to check her fx next week so will mention. Again, thanks for all the info you provide.
