Dr. O, My mare, 14 years of age has heat cycles every 3 weeks, is the one with the fractured collateral cartilage. Needs to be kept as quiet as possible, and during these cycles, it's very difficult. It has been mentioned to me about a marble type thing that can be implanted in the uterus which stops the cycles. Your thoughts on this procedure please. Many thanks, Shirley |
