We are late giving the Pneumabort-K to one of our mares. We are religious about this with our large mare herd. Unfortunately, one slipped by and is now late. We waited until the last minute for one of our mares and found that none of the area stores had it. We finally drove to Austin and got it. Here is our question: The shot is now 3 weeks late. Her 6 way is due in March. Should we give the Pneumabort-K now and the 6 way a week later (4 weeks prior to delivery)? Skip the Pneumabort-K? Move up the 6-way? Give them both a short time apart?

Your assistance is needed and appreciated.

Judy

If there in no EHV-1 in your six way, why not give them both now Judy?

I called Ft. Dodge. Their technician said they were different. We are going to give both. Thanks!
