I cannot remember the correct medical term for what used to be called "Barker" of Dummy Foals, so that is probably why I cannot find information in my search. I have heard that there is a good success rate with saving them now and wanted to learn about it. Where should I be looking? Thank you.

Hello Gail, it is called Maladjustment Syndrome, see Equine Diseases » Nervous System » Dementia: Depression, Excitement, Coma » Maladjustment Syndrome in Newborn Foals.
