We've enjoyed trail riding TWs for years, until last year when we lucked into purchasing a wonderful KMPH. Having gaited and non-gaited breeds which we've owned, bred, shown or trailed, we appreciate the individual personality and ability of each horse, rather than jumping on a single breed bandwagon. However, this breed is so kind, and capable, we're suprised there is not much written about it, and we'd like to find more material on this breed. We find when we ride with our TW friends, this horse can hold his gaits on hills and in rough country more consistently than the TW's. Their personalities are like Golden Retrievers. Can anyone help? We've seen everything their registry has to offer, which isn't much.
