Anyone have any? I need ones that can mainly be done at a walk. I am doing the belly lifts, and bringing the hind leg under, but what else can I do? Any books?
Thanks,
Alicia

walking over and around poles, buckets, etc. that make the horse look where it's going and bend will help. Also, gradually increase the speed of your walk while keeping bit contact...not a hard pull but contact. I think small circles and figure eights help too.

Hi Alicia,
Variation on a carrot stretch - you know the stretch where you stand at the horse' shoulder and using the carrot, make the horse stretch its neck around to its barrel (but lower)? Do the same thing but line the horse up so his opposite side is along a wall.

You stop the horse from popping its inside shoulder and the wall stops the horse from swinging its haunches. This forces the back up and a pelvic curl to get the carrot.
