Hello!

I have several horses that I am training and only have one really nice saddle pad that I like to ride with. I have been using others but they just aren't as effective as the one I want to use on all of them. My question is, I know that people use a cloth between the horse and the saddle pad and they can then use the same pad, but what kind of cloth is it? How big is it, etc. I could probably make my own but I thought I'd ask what you thought. Any ideas on this or otherways to handle riding multiple horses with the same pad would be greatly appreciated!

I sometimes use those cheap quilted cotton pads that are used to put under babies. They are easy to wash and can be bleached.

They are called baby pads. You wash them after each use. They are about 1/8 inch thick. You can buy them at most tack stores for around $10.00.
hope that helps. Katrina
