As you know, we have been working on a few projects. We have wanted Dennis Taylor, Frank Bell Certified Trainer and our resident white hatted cowboy brother to do a clinic for HA,we are helping Holly get her training facility up & running, and planning our spring HA get together. Well, throw that all in a pot and you get....

DENNIS TAYLOR GENTLE SOLUTIONS CLINIC
JUNE 27/28
WELLINGTON, KANSAS

We are hoping to see as many of you as possible there. The Nicker sisters and Saddle Bags are descending on Holly up to a week prior to help tweak the final preparations in realizing the dream Holly & Mark began before he died last year.
It is expected that this will be the first of a series of clinics conducted across the country. Whether you reserve as a participant with your horse or an observer to then book him into your barn, we promise you good times, great lessons and unforgettable fellowship as we gather in the Heartland to celebrate what we can cook up when we turn on the heat.
SMALL GLITCH...FYI... I wanted to post the flyer here, but cannot figure out how to email it as I am technologically challenged...DT will be posting it either today or tomorrow.

Great ad! I will be auditing because of course I have the perfect horse....NOT. Do you know Dennis
how to teach your horse not to have his fanny kicked by absolutely everyone you put in with him?The only thing so far that has not tried to hurt him is a Donkey. I so want the barn folks to put their mini donkey's in with Demetrius although with my luck they will try to take him out at the knees. LOL.
Anyway, so glad to know it's all coming together. Once again I will be there with my chair and notebook (it's show season so I can't attend any clinics as a rider however due to show season expenses).
DT you look just as I imagined you!

Can't wait.

This sounds great! Keeping my fingers crossed that work / family schedule will permit me to get away...hmmm, maybe I should tell my husband that I'm travelling for work...a long meeting...but then again how would I explain packing paddock boots, helmet and breeches instead of business casual????

I am soooo bummed I can't be there. We have tickets for Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, and Brooks and Dun at Country USA that weekend. Non-returnable and non-refundable. I can't believe my summer is getting overbooked already. DANG, DANG, DOUBLE DANG!

Hey Denny, I am so happy to have been part of this crowd to watch you follow your dreams. I would love to find a way to get out there, especially to meet all of you!

Great job Dennis! Guess What I've Got A Facility! Come on over to Utah and I'll set you up for a clinic! (By the way my email has been down for about a month for anyone trying to get me and still is. I've also been swamped with my new job) Please pass my love on to Holly!

Congratulations Dennis! And lucky all of us to have the chance to attend your first clinic before they all book up and get too expensive!

I will be going, probably as a spectator, but a few NJ friends are interested in hauling our horses out, so I may bring Cleo if that works out.

Here are a few suggested motels if you are going. There are others outside of Wellington (just google "wellington hotels"), but these are all really close to the festivities:

Oak Tree Inn - Rooms around $80+up
1177 E 16th St, Wellington - (620) 326-8191

Wellington Motor Lodge -
15 W 8th St, Wellington - (620) 326-2255

Sunshine Inn - $39 +up
1001 E 16th St, Wellington - (620) 326-8944

Holly says none of them are luxurious, but clean and adequate. Sunshine Inn has a pool and hot tub for sore carcasses.

For those on the road a long ways, the following link has a list of horse motels state by state that take in travelers and their horses.

See you there!

Hi all, I am starting a new thread for Denny's clinic, and the HA vacation gathering.
Look in the "Lounge" under "Members Services".

Trying to combine the two threads and make download time faster for those who are following both.

We'll call it "2008 HA reunion and clinic"

This thread is still active!! I just wanted to start a new vacation one and have info for both topics in one place.
