My cottage craft girth that I used on my pony finally broke (the elastic snapped). I have been using cottage craft for years and absolutely love it. I've never had a horse ever get even the slightest rub from it, no matter the weather. But now I am having a heck of a time finding another one. I am very particular, and it has to have the elastic at one end, and have that special material that covers beyond the buckles. It also needs to be a 26" girth.
I've tried ebay and no luck. I've been all over the internet but have come up empty. No one in the U.S. seems to be selling what I want.

Anyone know of a good substitute? I dont like fleece - it doesnt take long for it to get gummy. Neoprene is maybe ok, as long as it covers the buckles.

But i still prefer the cottage craft if anyone has any bright ideas

Mel

Hi Melissa,

I use only 100% mohair. It gives and breathes. Leilani
