Hi-

I have a 2 1/2 year old arabian stud colt and am ready to start work with a surcingle and cavesson. Problem: I can't seem to find tack small enough. Pony tack is to small and horse tack to big. He's approximately 880 pounds and 14.3 hands. I was curious if anybody knew of a place I could order tack from that might be geared towards the arabian type?

Thanks,
Margaret

Margaret,
For my Arabians, I find that items marked "cob size" usually fit pretty well.

I have had the same problem with my arabians and surcingles, running martingales, etc. I tie knots in them. This shortens things considerably, depending upon how many knots you use. (!)

Check with Scheider's. They are at most big arabian shows, and they do almost exclusively Arabians.
