I agree with Teresa....
draw reins are a "quick fix", flatwork or jumping. I taught my horses how to go in a frame, and it only took me 2 days for one of my TBs to understand the cue, about 2 weeks for him to be consistent with me asking, and its been 2 or 3 months and he carries himself on a loose rein and even on the the lunge line.
It's not hard, and if you think about it and decide to teach your horse how to carry himself, post again and I'll gladly help you if you need.
