From the message below you can see that NJ is conducting an Equine Economic Survey. We need you and everyone you know to take part in the survey and to do that we need addresses to pass along to the folks running the survey so we can get an accurate picture of the value of horses and horse farms to NJ Agriculture business. It doesn't matter if you keep your horse at home, board with someone else, or run a boarding stable... we need to hear from you. Showing the state just how big the horse influence is can help us in the future with information that can be used at zoning discussions, to help keep trails open, to help keep farms viable.
We have been assured that the information collected will be kept anonymous and will not be used to market to horse owners or zone us out. Rather it is likely to show just how much we do to keep open space and farms in the state viable.
What do we need from YOU? They are gathering names right now to send the survey to and we need you to either contact them direct, or contact me by the weekend so I can compile and pass along the information to the right people. The deadline for collecting names of those who will get the Survey is Jan 31. Names can not be added after this date. Make sure YOUR voice is heard.

Please send the following information (or at least name/address info) - I will not be sending any names to the survey that have not given permission to do so

Your Name Farm Name Street Address PO Box (if any) City State ZipCode Phone

FEEL FREE TO PASS THIS ALONG TO ANY HORSE FRIENDS IN THE STATE. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE BE HEARD
