Can you provide or know of a web site where I can find a template for an equine bill of sale? How about other legal forms for the equine industry?

I have some forms posted to my site at www.zerolitigation.com. I do not have a bill of sale, yet. But I'll work on one.

Hello Olesya,
You will find sample contracts including a liability release contract at HorseAdvice.com ยป Equine Business and Law. However all such contracts are subject to your local laws and therefore should be reviewed by a local lawyer for compliance and that if does what you want it to do.

It is also recommended in many states that you put up a "Horseback riding is a dangerous sport- liability release" statement in a prominent location. In some states it is protective against some accidents.

That notice that DR O talks about - I have seen them in some of the Horse Catalogs - they are Metal signs about 18 * 22 inches or so. I have neighbors that want to "see" and "Pet"the horses - i feel that I need one of them for the Barn in a prominent location so it will free us of liability if some one were to come feed them and get hurt.
