I have heard there is a formula to use regarding outdoor temperature and humidity in determining if it is safe to work a horse. You are supposed to add the two numbers together, but I cannot remember what value limits are considered safe, cautionary, and dangerous. Have you heard of this??

You will find the formula in Care for Horses » Nutrition » Water, Electrolytes, and Riding in the Heat >> Salts, Electrolytes, and Riding in the Heat,
