I keep these handy in my tack box to wipe ick off of my hands and/or the horse. A clean one is very nice for cleaning inside the horse's ears as they have a bit of moisture with aloe and no drying alcohol. They are also good for wiping the horse's nether areas. I figure if they are good enough for people bums, they are okay for the horse!

They are very inexpensive and come in a "pop-up" container and can be flushed.

Cheers.

I have Appy's with the for ever weeping eyes.. I use the baby wipes on their eyes all the time.. I LOVE THEM.. Much better then a barn towel that is used by all and for everything..

On the first day God created horses, on the second day he painted them with spots..

I buy the baby wipes at COSTCO. You can get several big packages (96 wipes per pkg.) of them for very little. The Kirkland brand is hypoallergenic, fragrance free and has Vit-E in them. They do a pretty good job at removing green spots, too, and I use them for a quick wipe of boots and saddle before entering the arena.

Christine thanks for the helpful idea,
Ann,
Thanks for the tip. I have a horse with blue eyes that weep and I'm always looking for something to clean them with.

I use them to clean my horses' faces each time I groom. They are also good for my hands when I get goopy. I also use the Costco ones.

Sara,

Kirkland is my favorite too. Way less expensive then buying one at a time at Long's.
