This equitrol thing has me nervous...so this is what I feed to my easykeeper...someone please tell me if something is wrong...

8 cups oat pellets (for his pasture pal) (2 for the am - 6 for the pm)
11 pounds timothy hay (5 for the am - 6 for the pm)
4 cups equine senior (2 for the am - 2 for the pm)
Reitsport Lite(1 scoop for the am - 1 scoop for the pm)
and I will cease the equitrol and will order the bug check.

He has a salt block and plenty of clean water.

He's 15.3 - 1100 pounds and Pretty darn ROUND! and in light work -

Thanks!

Since we cannot see your horse we cannot tell if you are feeding correctly (see Golden Rule of Feeding in Overiew Article). But there is nothing wrong with the feedstuffs you are using.

I checked his weight this morning...he's 1147 pounds and between a 5 and a 6. So all is well. Thanks Dr. O!
