Is it safe to line a horse trailer with Plywood?

Safe in what ways Mandy? Much would depend on how you did it but plywood has been used to line boxstalls without problems.

If it is lining the walls, there shouldn't be any problem. You might want to seal it though so the urine doesn't rot it. Sealing would also make it easier to clean. If you are talking about using it on the floor, you would definitly want to put 2 by 12 or some such sturdy planks down first. Also you would need mats to keep them from slipping. 3/4 to 1 inch plywood would be a good choice. EO

Many years ago, I bought a "rough" horse trailer and had to do more work than I anticipated. I didn't know what to do with the walls, but I ended up using plywood and gluing indoor/outdoor carpet to it. It looked great and was easy to take care of and keep clean.
