I have a 9 year old QH mare that has knocked her inside right leg while in her stall. The result was a rather large splint. I took her to the vet. He took X-rays and fortunately it was NOT fractured. This is the second time she has done this. He recommended keeping her legs wrapped while in the stall with standing wraps and splint boots when she is turned out in the pasture.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a boot that I could use to achieve the same protective factor as standing wraps while in the stall. I am not always home to wrap the standing wraps and have to rely on help in the evenings. I would like to have another option to protect her legs while in the stall. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello hdupre,

I found these when I did a web search for quick wraps. These look very reasonably priced and would seem to do what you want. Back on Track also puts out something similar but these boots tend to be pricey.
